Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location: Sacramento, California
- Radiant Displays is a rapidly growing company in the digital display industry, specializing in outdoor LED digital signs. Drawing on our experience and expertise with LEDs, our LED-based digital signage products provide high reliability, energy efficient, low maintenance and cost effective digital signage solutions to our customers. As a result of our explosive growth we have an immediate opening for an experienced Sr. Electronics Engineer.
This engineer will be a key member of our engineering design and development team that designs and produces digital logic circuits, embedded control circuits, power supply systems and all associated hardware and firmware for commercial uses of LED displays.
Responsibilities
*Perform analog and digital circuit design activities consistent with the development schedule from concept to production
*Support modification of existing designs
*Work consistently with other departments and cross-functional engineering team members
*Provide technical guidance for product road map
*FPGA design & development
*Digital drive circuit design
*Power supply design, qualification, and regulatory compliance (UL and CE)
*PCB design for LED display
*Embedded control circuits using FPGA and or Microprocessor
*Color and Video routines and hardware
*Produce Bill of Materials
*Test and analysis
*Design Reviews
*Support Manufacturing during production
*Support special projects assigned by management
Qualifications
*BSEE degree from an accredited college, MSEE degree preferred
*Experience and skills associated with at least 6 years analog and digital circuit design
*Some video and color experience is desirable but not necessary.
*Verilog or other FPGA code authoring
*Firmware/micro controller code design and development
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Strong oral and written communication skills
*Video electronics experience a plus
*Power supply design and regulatory compliance (UL & CE) experience is a plus
*Strong commitment of deliverables on time
