George Sugarman – CEO George Sugarman, an LED display industry guru, founded MultiMedia Electronic Programmable Signs (“MEPS”), the first US manufacturer of LED signs. Mr. Sugarman is an accomplished entrepreneur with a long history of chief executive management experience spanning many industries. Mr. Sugarman operated MEPS for 25 years, designing and manufacturing many of the spectacular programmable signs for corporate customers in the US and around the world. Most notable of these are the ABC Good Morning America Sign and the JP Morgan Chase Manhattan Sign in Times Square, and AIG Towers Sign in Hong Kong. In 1993, Mr. Sugarman’s company designed and installed the world’s first full-color RGB LED display using the new Nichia blue diode. MEPS dominated the outdoor “spectacular” display markets worldwide, building more than 70% of the spectaculars in New York, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, and other crossroads of the world. Leading the MEPS product development team, Sugarman’s innovations launched entirely new markets creating high-growth opportunities in theatre, transportation, and commercial signage. In 2004, MEPS was acquired by Billboard Video, Inc.
Pam Thompson – Vice President Sales and Marketing Pamela Thompson headed up the sales and marketing department at Multimedia Electronic Programmable Signs from 2000 until it was acquired in 2004, winning high-profile projects including the JP Morgan Chase Manhattan sign in Times Square and AIG Towers in Hong Kong. Ms. Thompson brings extensive industry knowledge and executive management talent to the Radiant team. Prior to her career at MEPS, Ms. Thompson worked at AJA Video in Grass Valley, California, developing High Definition video products with Apple Computer that revolutionized the post-production industry. In 2004, Ms. Thompson founded Brand Spanking New Media, a consulting and marketing services firm serving the professional display industry.
Rudy Wann – CFO Rudy Wann brings 26 years of entrepreneurial, financial and management experience to Radiant Displays. Mr. Wann served 10 years as a business consultant at Price Waterhouse working in a variety of industries including high telecommunications, computer software, consumer and industrial products manufacturing and distribution, specialty food products and entertainment. Prior to joining Radiant Displays in 2005, Mr. Wann served as CEO 10 years at Revcom, Inc. – a communications company specializing in satellite communications systems integration, and as CFO at IDB Communications Group, Inc.
